Warwick University: An Evening with NASA Astronaut Commander Michael Foale



This November ISSET (International Space School Education Trust) will be bringing former NASA Astronaut and International Space Station Commander Mike Foale to visit Leamington Spa Ogden Trust Primary Parttenrship on Tuesday 15th November. He will be spending most of the day talking to children from local schools across Leamington Spa and Coventry about his amazing adventures in space. In the evening, Commander Foale will presenting a family learning night for us at Warwick University. The University have kindly provided their new lecture theatre for the event so that as many families from our partners schools can attend as possible. General Admission tickets for the event will be £8 per person.

Mike is a British-born NASA Astronaut. He has been into space on 6 missions. His experience includes; being Commander of the International Space Station (ISS), bringing the Hubble Space Telescope back to life and having a major role in saving the Russian ‘Mir’ Space Station, following the only collision in outer space. Mike has ventured into space with both NASA and the Russian Space Agency.
