University of Namibia: WHY STUDY AT FACULTY OF AGRICULTURE AND NATURAL RESOURCES

First of all, agriculture as a field of knowledge constitutes a priority worldwide, given the capacity for training students to meet peoples' need in food and feed production; agro-industry and manufacturing.

Secondly, this Faculty has got very well structured and internationally recognized programs, hence the high competence of graduates in providing solutions based on scientific and practical experience gained along their studies.

Thirdly, studies at Faculty of Agriculture are based on practical lessons which enable students to be hand on experts, given the existing crop and livestock farms and game reserves.

Fourthly, the Faculty has embarked in teaching new technologies applied in animal reproduction like in vivo and in vitro fertilization and embryo transfer for animal science and veterinary medicine students Other reasons for embracing the Faculty of Agriculture and Natural Resources - the Faculty equips students with:
