Tip of the Week
Check out Research Park! Did you know that there are over a hundred companies located on the south end of campus? Well, it's true. Research Park is home to both tiny startups and giant multinational corporations, and all of them are interested in hiring students for internships and graduates for full-time positions. Companies like AB InBev, Yahoo, and Capital One have data analytics centers at Research Park, and agriculture and biotech startups abound at incubator Enterprise Works. Want to learn more? Attend a networking event, search their job board, or attend the Research Park Career Fair on March 9.

1871 recently announced open applications for its 2017 Campus 1871 event. This is a program 1871 does annually with their university partners including the University of Illinois System, Northwestern, University of Chicago, Loyola, IIT, DeVry, and DePaul. The event is basically a startup weekend where students break into teams and compete for a chance to win a yearlong 1871 membership.
Third Annual Kohl's Invitational Case Competition (KICC), April 6, 12:00 pm, Virtual/Online, (More information on I-Link)
The Kohl's Invitational is a business case competition that centers on today's changing retail industry. Students from across the country are invited to apply and work as a team to analyze a Kohl's business case. The 12 finalist teams will present their recommendations to a panel of judges from Kohl's senior leaders in April 2017. Why Compete? It's a great resume builder. You'll get exposure to Kohl's recruiters and leadership. Finalists will travel to Kohl's Corporate Office in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The winning team will receive a $5,000 scholarship.

Cobham Graduate Development Program - Future Business Leaders (ID 150081)

Our Future Business Leaders stream is a structured, closely monitored, two to three year rotational program. The program will be a series of six month rotations across the US in various disciplines, including Program Management, Strategic Sourcing, Operations, Business Development, Procurement, Commercial, Sales and Marketing, Finance, and Human Resources. The program will allow you to explore some of Cobham’s offices located in California, Arizona, Iowa, New York, Massachusetts and Pennsylvania. The duration of the program is customized to fit your and the businesses needs and will commence at the beginning of September.

Works evaluating the latest iPad, iPhone and iPod HW systems in the field. This includes very early evaluations of our Prototypes and HW Systems on different 2G/3G/4G wireless technologies.
